It all started with a seven-day darkness meditation retreat in rural France. I felt an immense peace and gratitude for the opportunity to delve into deep meditation without interruption. I asked myself, “Am I doing enough? How can I contribute meaningfully through my art?”
“If I can touch just one person or leave them with a positive memory through this project, I will feel my goal has been accomplished. This project is my way of sharing love, from my heart to theirs”.
The initial sculpted shape was reminiscent of the soft aura of energy I experienced. This was the way I translated it into a form that could be visualized through clay.
There were many early prototypes on how to translate this into a life-size orb that you could enter inside. This was a long process that lasted much of the year.
There were many early iterations but they just didn’t feel right.
I had to start back at square one after some tries. Then finally things started coming together!
It finally started to look like what I imagined to be!
And just like that…it is on its way to be installed in Miami!
